So long, farewell.

As ready as I feel, goodbye’s will never get easier. I came to this realization today when I said goodbye to a very dear friend. Everything is bittersweet right now. As I embark on the adventure of my lifetime, I am forced to say goodbye to the people that have made me who I am today. Just one more day of goodbye’s, and praying for the emotional strength to get me through the day.

    I will be praying for you too Beth…saying goodbye is never easy!! Just wait til you have been in YWAM…it gets harder and harder!! But, the best part is saying goodbye means you are saying hello to a new adventure and new people and new places that God wants to show you…I am so excited for you and will be checking your blog for updates!! (and I confess your Facebook to see pictures!!!)

    We have watched you grow and mature over so many years. What a joy to have a glimpse of this next set of experiences- loving the blog! We are so proud of you Beth, and feel like we are watching our own daughter leave home in many ways. We have shed a few tears realizing that you are on to this next phase of your life. BUT we mostly are rejoicing that you are a woman seeking after God. So, Beth, we are praying for you over these next few months. May they be hard, and stretch you. May they be rich and heavy at times, and enrich you. May they be full of laughter and joy and feed your soul. May they be full of God.
